JF Yacht Design is a young design studio founded in 2013 by Jesus Franco Martin, Naval Architect and a passionate about luxury cars and yacht design. He had the idea of creating a design studio when he was still in University.

I have always been passionate about design, overall in yachts and cars. I decided to study Naval Architecture because I thought that someday, I would become in a yacht designer. I have studied BSc in Naval Architecture in “Escuela Universitaria de Ingeniería Naval y Oceánica” (University of Cadiz).
In the University, I learned everything regarding to build different type of vessels (Structural design, scantling, Classification Societies rules…) but only a bit regarding to yacht design, therefore, when I finished my BSc, I decided to learn to design yachts by my own way. Honestly, I think that learn to design yachts is something that you can't learn, I think this is something that you have since you born. I had lots of ideas in my mind and I wanted to create these ideas in real 3D models, therefore I started to learn "Rhino".
I have a high level of knowledge of Naval Architect software and very good qualifications in Naval Design, also a great creativity. I have managed 2D and 3D CAD programs for more than 4 years. Although I have learned very much to manage CAD software, I am continuing developing my skills in 2D and 3D software, and overall in Renders software, but always in a selftaught manner. I like so much yachts design and I have really good artistic talents. I have a lot of ideas of yacht design in my mind. I am able to design yachts in both classic and modern style.
